Come and See | A Day of Discernment and Fellowship
Called By Name honorees (ages 15+) are cordially invited to attend “Come and See,” a day of discernment and fellowship at St. John Vianney Seminary.
We hope you will join us to experience the beautiful liturgy and vibrant community life of our seminary, and connect with seminarians and fellow discerners. If you have been praying about the priesthood – this event is for you. If you long to do God’s will but aren’t sure how – this event is for you too! Wherever you are at in your vocational discernment journey, we hope you will attend! Just come with an open mind and heart!
Itinerary for this event:
- 8:30 – Arrival and introduction.
- 9:15 – Holy Mass Celebrated by Seminary Rector Fr. Angel Perez-Lopez
- 10:15 – Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and a discernment reflection offered by Vocations Director Fr. Jason Wallace
- 11:15 – Lunch and outdoor activities, like volleyball, spikeball, and lawn games.
- 1:00 – Event concludes. Attendees are free to leave as early as 12:30.

- • There is no cost to attend this event, but registration is required. Capacity for this event is limited. If registration reaches capacity, it will close. Otherwise, the registration deadline is August 10.
- • You must be at least 15 to attend this event. If you are a minor, you must bring a signed parental waiver with you. Download HERE.Â
- • Attendees are welcome to wear casual dress, but shorts are not permitted due to Mass. Feel free to pack shorts if you would like to change for the outdoor activities.
- • The dress code for this event is casual, but shorts are not permitted due to Mass. (You can bring a pair to change into before the outdoor activities and sports.)
